Welcome to Diffle County!

We were sitting around the Township building this morning. Big Don brought up a complaint.

"Ricky, why doesn't Diffle County have its own blog?" he asked.

"Well Don," I replied, " Diffle County hasn't raised taxes in twenty-five years. I would have to do it myself."

Big Don laughed.  "Ricky, that hasn't stopped you from writing about us and posting on your mutant blog."

"You mean The Mutant Mouse Chronicles."  I said with a slight frown.

"Whatever you call it.  Now tell me, how much does that cost you, this mutant blog of yours?"  Don asked, a sly twinkle in his eye.

"Um, it.ah..doesn't cost anything to set up a blog on blogger."  I replied. I began to wonder about where I was being led. Have you ever smelled a trap yet stepped in it anyway?

"How much does Diffle County pay you to write these stories of yours?"  He asked, his grin widening.  Man, I hate it when they get me cornered like this.   Big Don was leading me like a puppy on a chain.

"Nothing." I replied, as quietly as I could.

"Seems to me all it takes is your time, which you are already wasting. Might as well finish the job, Ricky."  Don chuckled out loud.

He threw the old gauntlet down, didn't he? There is no way I am not going to pick it up and accept his challenge.

I think I will keep this silly template up for awhile.  Looks like something from Please Don't Eat the Daisies. Big Don hates that show.
